A very unusual trend has started in AMU. In last few months cases of snatching has increased unprecedently. Proctor Office in spite of its sincerest efforts has failed to check it. Not only the hooligans take away the belongings but also hurt the students, sometimes very seriously.

Students are not the only victims of such criminals but petty shopkeepers too are targeted. Previous night, Rizwan Bhai who runs a small Pan & cigarette corner at Café de Phoos was targeted. The lock of his shop was found broken in the morning with every thing swept off. A complaint regarding this has been lodged both at Proctor Office and Civil Lines Police Station.
