“Department of Anadesthesia is one of the best departments in the JN medical college” Professor Ashraf Malik says.World Anaesthesia Day Function has been organized by the Department of Anaesthesia, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.
while addressing the function Professor Ashraf Malik, Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent appealed to all the resident doctors and staff of the Medical College to enlarge their straight and cooperation in upgrading the quality of health care in the hospital.
He added that his top priority is to streamline the patient management in the emergency unit and to improve the treatment facility available in the ICU.He further said that the honesty and enthusiasm of the resident doctors and the high quality of academic environment in the department is praise worthy. winners of Quiz Competition were also be rewarded with the prizes, namely Dr. Suhail Siddiqui, Dr. Irfan, Dr. Madhulika and the runners up Dr. Jyotsna, Dr. Md. Asad and Dr. Dhiraj.
Earlier the program was inaugurated by Dr. Shahla Haleem, Reader, who in her welcome address, emphasized on the important role played by the anaesthesiologist in the advancement of modern science. Dr. SN Jamil, Reader, reiterated that advancement in surgical field could take place only because of the advancement in anaesthesia.Dr. S Moied Ahmed, Reader, thanked the Chief Guest for accepting the invitation despite his busy schedule. He also thanked Prof. MMH Siddiqi, Prof. S Bano, Dr. Abdul Quadir and all the Office staff, especially the junior faculties, Dr. H Usmani, Dr. SH Amir, Dr. Farah Nasreen, Dr Abu Nadeem and Dr. M Daud.
