As per the part of the academic relationship between the AMU and the American Centre, Mr. John R Silver, Senior English Language Fellow, American Centre, New Delhi visited the Academic Staff College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and interacted with 100 AMU school students enrolled in the on-going Access Programme geared towards improving proficiency in English language.
Beside this, to discuss on recent teaching methodologies and strategies focused on enhancing communication skills of AMU students, he had a four hour long interactive session with 17 English language teachers of AMU drawn from Department of English faculty and research scholars and AMU Secondary and Senior Secondary School teachers.
He expressed his satisfaction over the progress achieved by these students after one year training
