Aligarh Muslim University Teachers Association’s secretary resigned from their post, here. Dr Adus Salam was having a responsibility of Secretary of AMUTA, Aligarh but due to some family problems, Salam stepped down him self from their duty.

Executive committee of Aligarh Muslim University Teacher Association has decided to have meeting on this issue.

Undoubtedly Dr Abdus Salam showing his family problems as a main reason of his quit. But in campus, the rumors are being aired that upcoming Dharna from 1st November, may be a reason, due to the unsatisfied work of administration on having Screening Committee rather than selection committee for placement of the Lecturers in Senior Scale and to hold General Selection Committees.
