Our mission is to make a positive difference in the career and lives of Aligarh Muslim University Students and Alumni of AMU.

To give the transparency in Right to Information issues, Aligarh Muslim University constituted RTIC (Right to Information Committee).  This committee will take care of the batter implement of Right to information facilities.

Prof. Mohammad Shabbir is appointed as president this committee. University media advisor Prof. NAK Durrani, Asrif suhail, Amanullah khan, Abdul Kayum, Assistant Finance Officer and Assistant Examination Controller would be members of this Committee under the convener ship of Majid Ali.

This committee is to make a Right to Information action plan and submit a report within three months.

Prof. P K Abdul Azis, Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University is very serious on delay in RTI issues. This is why; he discussed deeply section-2, Chapter-4 of Right to Information Act-2005 along with the committee members. Azis further directed to organize Two Days Workshop on “how to solve RTI issues” for the purpose of creating awareness about the micro aspects of Right to Information Act-2005.
