Eight MBBS students of Aligarh Muslim University have been panelized for ragging at Wali Mohammad Hostel, Hadi Hasan Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh by the proctor of same university. This action was taken under the rules prescribed in the AMU students’ Conduct & discipline Rules and Rs. 500-2500 have been slapped on the errant students.

Eight MBBS students of Aligarh Muslim University have been panelized for ragging at Wali Mohammad Hostel, Hadi Hasan Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh by the proctor of same university. This action was taken under the rules prescribed in the AMU students’ Conduct & discipline Rules and Rs. 500-2500 have been slapped on the errant students.

In this incident, all nine MBBS students were caught red handed by the proctor team while ragging was going on at the top floor of said hostel at the mid night. All these MBBS students claimed that they were having normal introduction and nothing else. But after completing an enquiry, proctor finally took a decision to panelize eight students among total nine. One student was remaining unfined only after giving first and last warning. Penelized MBBS students must have to deposit this penalty within next fifteen days.

All are bound to deposit the receipt of amount with an Undertaking to the proctor office. 
Anti-ragging squad of this Hall was also warned by the proctor, because of their failure to find out the ragging information on time.
