Prof. P .K Abdul Azis Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University signed a MoU with the Youngstown State University, Ohio, to advance a meaningful partnership with AMU.
This general agreement of Academic and Cultural cooperation has a purpose to foster mutual understanding, to strengthen cultural ties and to provide opportunities to expand the experiences and horizons of the participating students, faculty and professional staff. Both the universities wish to explore a cooperative relationship, through the development of exchange programs of professors, professional staff and students, joint research programs, joint organization and participation in pedagogical, scientific, technical seminars and meetings and in competency and skills based activities and other activities in the fields of mutual interest. This agreement provisions will not limit in any way the rights of YSU and AMU related to public health and moral codes order and safety. No doubt this agreement has a great goal and must be called one of the biggest achievements of its Vice Chancellor Prof. P K Abdul Azis and Prof. Shakir Husain, Department of civil Engineering (an AMU Alumnus, played a major role in getting this MOU signed).
