A book on 'Plant Bacteria-An Introduction' is  released by The officiating Vice Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University, Professor Javed Musarrat (Professor P K Abdul Azis,Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University is on his 12-days visit to United States).

This book is edited by Dr. Iqbal Ahmad of the Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and  published by Wiley-VCH, a reputed Publisher of Germany. Professor Musarrat has informed that the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences has added a new Department of Home Science.

He appreciated the role of his colleagues in the contribution of high standard research works that has brought recognition to the University. Professor Javed Musarrat is a dedicated young Professor,an outstanding administrator and a role model to the young researchers of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
