In the Saturday Seminar of the Ph D students, on 9th August 2008, at 5 p.m. Mr Saleem Ansari, [an M.A. in Archaeology from Delhi University and doing Ph D from CAS in History, AMU, under the supervision of Dr Jaya Menon, Reader, CAS in History, AMU] presented his paper on "Archaeology: A Multi Disciplinary Approach".

it was attended by around 60 students and few teachers. Several pertinent questions, comments, suggestions came out from the audience. The topic and the speaker was introduced by Dr Sumbul H. Khan. The seminar concluded with my suggestive remarks on how to improve the style and content of the presentation.

Dr Mohammad Parwez [Reader, CAS in History, formerly Lecturer in Assam (Central) University, Silchar] also made some important suggestions. The power point Presentation [to illustrate things with relevant photographs, tools and techniques etc] further added to the clarity of the presentation.

On 16th August 2008, owing to holiday, the saturday Seminar will be held at 10.30 a.m.
