The founder of the Jamia Millia Islamia had never thought that a day would come when Jamia administration will be in a great dilemma to define the sole motive of Jamia’s establishment. The student community says that the institution is for the betterment of the Muslim community; which is well defined by the founder itself. On the other side hardcore leftist Vice chancellor Mr. Mushirul Hassan has hijacked the academic council and passed the resolution to implement the new education policy of India. If it is implemented, then Jamia will not follow the 25% internal quota policy. Interestingly VC of Jamia keeping no stone left to give false assurance to the students that the internal quota is not in danger. Few days earlier the administration has distribute two different handbills in English and Urdu with different contents. Mr. Mushirul hasan want to become champion by feeling the pain of the Muslim community in his Urdu handbill, while in other handbill, which is in English version he said not to believe in Urdu newspapers, as they publish nothing truth.

Mr. Mushirul hassan is the same man who had issued press release in support of Salman Rushdie’s Satanic verses in 1989. The same professor has become vice chancellor of Jamia, so there is no need to say his motive. He has already denied admission of 40 students in this academic session because they were against his policies to lead Jamia against the muslim community. Mr.Mushirul Hasan does not like any democratic process in the campus, he uses his all means to abolish any agitation which is going against the leftist ideology. In Feb. 2006 when the 40 student leaded the procession against the blasphemous cartoonist of Denmark News paper, the administration has denied admission on this ground to many students.
