Aligarh 04.07.2008 : The Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC), Aligarh honoured Mr. Abu Imran for his inspiring achievement in the IAS Examination 2007. Mr. Abu Imran stood 418 amongst the 734 successful candidates this year. In his presidential remarks, Prof. Farhatullah Khan Professor Emeritus, AMU said that Mr. Imran brought not only laurels for AMU but also cracked the formidable examination in a short period of time after graduating from communicative English, for which the institution shall be proud of him. The MBMC president Jasim Mohammad depth down the memory lane and recalled that Mr. Imran had been persevering since a long time. He was at the forefront of MBMC activities. Mr. Jasim Mohammad urged the AMU administration to pay special attention to the problems of minorities.
Prof. Mohammad Shabbir Director, Ambedkar Chair, AMU observed that Mr. Abu Imran’s success would constantly motivate the upcoming generations in AMU. He urged for creating a congenial environment on the campus for civil services. In the end, Mr. Abu Imran expressed his gratitude for Mr. Naseem Ahmed former Vice- Chancellor of AMU, for exhorting students to carve a niche for themselves in top bureaucracy. Mr. Imran regretted the absence of proper guidance on the campus due to which most students fail. He advised them to have single minded devotion and do honest labour for success. He thanked MBMC and deserved to maintain rapport with it. The ceremony was attended prominently by Jamal Ansari, Mahtab Khan , Dr. Md. Shahid, Md. Farooque Khan, Daulat ram, Ghulam Farid Sabri and others. Mr. Imran was presented with a ‘memento’ containing the verses of the Holy Quraan. Thank You.
