Now a new disturbance has touched with the Aligarh Muslim University’s Convocation Ceremony.

This time, unwanted rain can upset the programme. During the last few days there were a monsoon hit to the Aligarh and showered a heavy rain, Athlatic Ground, the Venue of the Convocation is fully water locked.

AMU Administration and Staff are giving all the efforts to make of ready before 18 june2008. But it is not a cakewalk.

There are rumors taking place in the University Campus that convocation may be held at the Kennedy hall, in place of Athletic ground.

58^th Convocation of Aligarh Muslim University is being disturbed right from its first announcement.

It was scheduled in March 2008 with a plan to give a honorary degree to former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, wipro Chief Azim Premji, Industrialist Ratan tata and MS Swaminathan.But it was postponed and now there are a plan to organize it on 18 June with only former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, wipro Chief Azim Premji.
