Three thousand candidates were Absent at the Aligarh Muslim University, Senior Secondary (Diploma Engineering/Class XI ) admission test .
Merachaman sources had earlier told in their report that Entrance Examination may be affected by two on going problems. One--Disturbtion of Railways and Roadways due to Gujjar agitation and Second --The result of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board Class 10 Examination showed the lowest overall pass percentage (40.07) in the last six years. Over 2..5 million students appeared in the UP Board class 10 exams, out of which 1,035,490 students failed to clear it. And finally these problems have disturbed this Entrence examination.
The admission test was conducted in a peaceful manner amid tight security arrangements.
The Vice Chancellor Professor P K Abdul Azis, Controller Examinations Professor Mohammad Irfan, Dean Students’ Welfare Professor Abu Qamar Siddiqui and other senior Professors and functionaries of the University visited various admission test centers.
