Aligarh Muslim University has Finally decided to celebrate its Annual Convocation on 18th June 2008.Earlier, this University wanted its convocation to be held in March, but due to some internal problems, the date of the Convocation to be postpond.

The 58th Annual Convocation 2007 of Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh shall be held at the Athetics Ground of the University itself.

Hon'ble Dr APJ Abdul Kalam,Former President of India, has very kindly consented to grace the occasin and deliver the convocation address.

The Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will reach Aligarh on 17th june 2008 and  likely to address the Students of  5 to 12 Class on 17th Juneitself, at the Kannady Hall,Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Approximately 700 hundred students from different Schools of Aligarh will be asking questiones, directly to the Chacha Kalam.

On the other hand, Those Students who have qualified for the award of the degrees of the University in 2007 (Undergraduate,Post-graduate,M.Phil,Ph.D,D.sc and D.litt.) in various faculties and wish to attend the connocation and receive the degrees and Medals in person are requested to intimate the undersigned in writing by 10.06.2008 giving details of their Enrolment No.,Faculty No.,degree Course completed in 2007 and halls to which they belong / belionged. All such students shall report to the concerned provost of the halls / Coordinator,BE courses(in case of BE students) and Examination Division of controller's office (in case of women private candidates, teacher candidates and University employees ) and collect their Degree Cards and Other relevent information on or before 16th june2008.
