Jun 01-08 : UP Board Result and Agitation May Affect the AMU Entrance Examination |

Aligarh Muslim University,Senior Secondary (Diploma Engineering/Class XI ) Entrance Examination may be affected by two on going problems.One--Disturbtion of Railways and Roadways due to Gujjar agitation and Second--The result of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board Class 10 Examination showed the lowest overall pass percentage (40.07) in the last six years. Over 2.5 million students appeared in the UP Board class 10 exams, out of which 1,035,490 students failed to clear it.
Tomorrow, On 2nd june Approximatly more than 25,000 candidates will have to come to Aligarh alone. There are a large number of candidates from UP Board but due to bad result, Now thay are even not able to attand this entrance examination.
Aligarh Muslim University has also deputed one senior most faculty member as an observer and one center incharge to maintain the secrecy and sanctity to these prestigious test centers.
There are also accomodation facility from Aligarh Muslim University.One the other hand, Some Social working Group like Student Islamic Organisation Of India (SIO),AMU Unit,National Service Scheme(NSS),AMU Unit and others opend a "Help Counter" at the Aligarh Railway Station. Syed Amir Mian
