ALIGARH MUSLIM University (AMU), Prof. Zafrul Islam has been appointed as a member of a International Advisoring Board of Islamic Studies and general Jihat-Al-Islam,Punjab University Lahore (Pakistan).

At present Prof. Zafrul Islam is a Chairman of the Department of Islamic Studies,Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh.
