AMU alumni hosted the famous SIR SYED DINNER today at the  residence of Ali Ashraf Fatmi minister of state HRD. On this occasion, Oscar Fernandez, CK Jafer Shareef, Mr AR sherwani, Dr. Rizwan Qaiser,  Akhterul wasey,  Prof. Azizuddin and many more dignitaries marked their presence. 
 
Mr. Safder Hasmi president of AMU old boys association said on this occasion that the association is planning to buy permanent office in Delhi, so that the we can enlarge our activities in Delhi. Prof. Azizuddin said that the authorities of AMU should give special attention to the historical monuments of the great institution. AMU should not change the basic character of the places like Sir syed house, strachey hall and other old monuments.

 Akhterul wasey said that Sir Syed Ahmad khan is a champion of education in Indian History. He said that Sir Syed is the first great advocate of women education, enlightenment in Muslim society and Hindu Muslim unity.
