With the commencement of the semester examinations the general mood of the students has changed. Crowds at Xerox centers students carrying loads and loads of Photostats, running after seniors for notes are the commonest sight in the campus. The library and seminars are full, an unusual feature. Anxiety of the fresher, who have joined AMU this year, cannot pass unnoticeably. “Guesses” remaining the most prized thing. The first paper of M.A (I Semester) English had to be cancelled yesterday because the pattern (declared by the Department) was not followed. As soon as the papers were distributed the students highlighted the fault and created a hue and cry in the examination hall. They were complaining about the negligence of the paper setters. Soon the concerned authorities reached the spot. Students calmed down only after the assurance of Prof. M.M.A.Raza, Chairman Department of English to re-conduct the paper on the prescribed pattern.
