The gift of gab is always welcome in public and corporate life, but if you are the one gifted with foreign languages then you can bargain for higher position in both spares of life in your own term.
It may be an utopian scheme for some one but things have gone in sea change after Globalization. It has changed and created lots of career options for a good linguist. Field of mass communication, MNCs, travel agencies, embacies, and many more spots are waiting for the people knowing languages like JAPANIES, FRENCH, GERMAN, SPANISH, CHIANIES, and ARBIC.
The days have gone when people were thinking that prosperity could be achieved only after becoming a doctor or engineer. Simple graduates in foreign language are earning more than any doctor or engineer in India. The best thing is that you start earning when you have not even completed your college.
I have many friends in JNU New Delhi, earning 10 to 20 thousands per month from their 2nd year in French, Spanish, or Japanese. When you complete your course, many MNCs come to recruit you in your campus. Foreign market pressure is so high that they are ready to pay you 50 to 1 lakes rupees per month. You can have much better position if you do MBA, MSW, Mass communication, MCA or any other professional course after doing your graduation in any foreign language.
Apart from the aforementioned options, people with knowledge of a foreign language can find jobs as airhostess and flight stewards. For all those executives and students who wish to travel to the non - English speaking countries for either work or further studies, the knowledge of a relevant foreign language is a must. It can also prove beneficial to those businessmen who intend to expand their business.
