Amidst all humdrums of the activities here in the campus the sad remembrance of the demolition of Babri Masjid was clearly visible among the Alig community in general and the students in particular. AMUSU in an appeal addressed to the members said that until the culprits are brought to the end they deserve they would continue their struggle. Students were seen tying black armbands to mark the anniversary. Nafees Ahmad, President AMUSU said the day should be remembered not only because a mosque or shrine was demolished but also it was the day on which thousands of years of Indian culture was destroyed. He said that it is the duty of every citizen of India to see in future such communal forces does not raise their head again and such heinous acts are repeated. The scars left on our hearts are deep enough to be forgotten. |
