The election for the prestigious AMU Old Boy’s Association was announced today. As per the declared program the last date for filling nomination forms will be 13th Dec. The nominations could be withdrawn latest by 17th Dec. The last date for sending the overseas ballot will be 31st January 2007.

Final polling here in Aligarh will take be on 3rd Feb. Counting of votes and declaration of results is scheduled on 4th Feb. Over five thousand voters from all over the world will exercise their franchise to elect a Secretary, three Joint-Secretaries, President Central Working Committee, two senior Vice-Presidents, two Vice-Presidents and twenty five members out of which ten have to be from outside Aligarh. They will be elected for three years.
