National Institute of Rural Development - JUNIOR FELLOWS
For undertaking research in the areas of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Natural Resources Management, Micro planning, Cooperation and related fields and for attending to other academic work of the Institute. Placements will be at Hyderabad/Guwahati /New Delhi. 1) Eligibility: 1)Persons should hold at least Second Class Master’s Degree in any of the Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Management Sciences, Rural Development or Degree in Technical/Engineering and other professional streams. 2)Should have qualified in NET/GATE and other equivalent examinations/tests approved by the UGC, ICSSR & CSIR. 2) No. of Fellowships: Five Fellowships.
3)Duration: Two years extendable by another year. 4)Remuneration and other incentives: Fellowship Grant @Rs.8000/- per month for the first two years and @Rs.9000/- for the third year. Casual leave limited to 8(eight) days per annum and 15(fifteen) days paid leave in a period of six months or on a pro-rata basis only.
