The AMUTA in a letter to the President of India thanked him for appointing an academician as the Vice Chancellor of the University. They expressed their joy that a gap of twelve year an academician is coming to head the institution. Everyone in the Campus is hopeful that the academic activity will find a new life in the Campus.
Prof. Saleem Akhter, President AMUTA, said that AMU community has many hopes from the new VC and said that a teacher can best understand the problems of a teacher. With the coming of an academician VC the educational activity in the University will increase.
Dr. Abdus Salam, Secretary of the Association said that a Bureaucrat had always given priority to law and order over academics and this had been against the interest o the University. Everyone agreed that the achievement of the university is directly dependent on the academic achievement and so it has to be given highest priority. |
