In his capacity as Chief Rector of the Aligarh Muslim University, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh has nominated Professor Habibur Rahman, Ex-Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra as member of the Executive Council under 16(1)(XII) of the Statutes of the University for a period of three years. Prof. Habibur Rahman is a former Dean, Faculty of Commerce at AMU. He was the founder Provost of Allama Iqbal Hall.
