The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Administration owing to the pressure of the students replaced the three key members from their posts. Prof Muzaffar Ali Siddiqui of Electronic Engineering took the charge of Proctor.

Prof Muzaffar Ali Siddiqui had also held the post of DSW and Provosts.

Prof. Javed Mussarat of Agricultural Microbiology took the charge of Registrar.

Prof. Akhtar Haseeb from Department of Plant Protection took the charges of Controller Examination and Admission.

It is to be noted that after the murder of Kausar the student's demand included the removal of the key administrators who were belived to extracting mileage from the incident for their vested intrests.

They are also demanding a CBI inquiry in the dual murder of the students within a fortnight.
