Chehelum to mark the 40th day of the supreme martyrdom of Imam Hussain (R.A) was observed peacefully in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Campus.

No sooner does one hear the name of Hussain (R.A) the emotions like faith, sacrifice, action, patience and obedience of teachings of the time surge. Even after the passage of such long time, the remembrance of Imam Hussain (R.A) has astonishing influence over the mourners. The remembrance of Imam Hussain (R.A) and the mourning upon his martyrdom is not just a set of rituals performed, it is associated with one’s heart and mind.
