What seems to have ended resurfaced again in AMU.The crisis which has started in Faculty of Management took a new turn today. This time AMU Teacher’s Association have taken the initiative. In their General Body Meeting held in Staff Club passed a resolution demanding disciplinary action against the Executives of AMUSU for their misbehavior with teachers. The resolution also states that in case Vice Chancellor fails to act the members will go on a token- strike on 30th November which will take the form of relay hunger strike later.On being concated Nafees Ahmad, President AMUSU said that the alleged misbehavior was provoked by the aggressiveness shown on the part of the teachers .He said threats like "Goli marwa doonga" and "Ghar se udwa loonga" are not expected from teachers. And it was their mistreatment with the Executives of AMUSU that has been the cause of all. |
