A musical band STICH rocked the Jamia students by holding a fund raising program for the street children.
The social organization TARA that provides non-formal education to street children organized this event in collaboration with the students of English Department namely Mr. Nayab Siddiqui, Qulsum Rashid, Khushboo Sherwani, and Rasnaf Wadood.

Reaching out to helpless street children in India to provide a friendly future for those who have no other form of support through charity. The reality of street children is the naked and vicious face of poverty, sickness, and exploitation. The tragedy is that those who bear it are themselves innocent.Do we really feel the pain of the children of our soil when we contribute? Or we are more conscious to adopt the imported ethics that give us a way to laugh, a chance to dance a moment to celebrate in the time when we suppose to thank God who gave us a better life…(If your right hand gives charity do not inform it to your left hand.. Saying of a wise man)
