Days were going to be stressful because exams were just knocking the door and as usual we were gathering the notes and trying our best to cover as much as we could.

The main issue was Mathematics and specially Co-ordinate Geometry (BSc 1st year), At a sudden one of my friend suggested me lets meet Zaidi Sb (Reader in Mathematics Dept.)  and try to get some important questions/notes. First we thought it was not going to work but "MARTA KYA NA KARTA". We both agreed to talk to Zaidi Sb.

So next morning we reached Mathematics Department and knocked the door and we were so lucky that Zaidi Sb was available in his chamber, My friend was very good in communication so he took the  lead and requested "Sir it will really helpfull to us if you can give us some important questions for coming exams", Zaidi Sb listened quietly and asked us to bring the book.

WOW…we got what we were looking for I was feeling proud on my friend the way he talked to Zaidi Sb and convinced him. Anyway we brought the book and again we were in Zaidi Sb's chamber.

My Friend “ Sir this is the book”

Zaidi Sb “ Bahut Ache..Yahan Laoo”

He looked at us with great smile and .......

He hold 1/3rd of the book and ask if you solve up to this you will probably clear the exam.

Then he holds 2/3rd of the book if you solve this you will probably get First class numbers

Then he holds full book If you solve this then you will score full marks.

Zaidi Sb “ Bhago YAHAN Se..AINDA dikhayee mut dena, behooda insaan...”

Woh din tha aur aaj ka din phir kabhi himmat nahin hoe important maloom karne ke.

Iram Yusuf - Sarver Bihari & Computer Serve Unregistered | Apr-15-07 MCA entrace test was over. one of my hostel mate origenely from Bihar had gotten through and preparing for Interview and group disucssion.his fate was to be declared with interview 3 days after. luckily i had accompanied him to the Computer Dept on his interview date.interview begins now. after a brief introduction the first question was "what do you know about server" as he was a freind of Mr server who was involved into anti social activities so he took it as if thet are asking about Mr. Server and he pleasantly started telling about him. aray server bhai ki baat kar rahay haiin aray humray hi hostel mail rahtay haiin bahut acchay dost hain humarian koi kaam ho to batayaga sir ho jayaga humari baat kabhi nahin taaltay hain. the interviewrs got crazy with the reply.finlly he did not make it and he became a laughing stock later. mashhoodalig - Khala Ka Hotel Author | Dec-16-07 Dear All, Assalamo Alaikum, It was my first year as well as last year of Syed Hamid Sahab's tenure as VC at AMU. So it was my great luck that I got admission in 10+2 in first list in commerece stream without any wasta and the whole credit of it goes to only Syed Hamid Sahab, who provide an opportunity for admission to many middle class and poor admission seekers like me, at this great and world fame educational institute. Furthermore, I have still remember an incident when Hamid Sb., declared winter vacation before time and within few days university was looking like a Ghost-Campus. We few close freinds at Allama Iqball Hall, decided to remain in the hall for few more days. The dinning hall of A.I. Hall also was finally closed due to leaving mostly students. One night, we went to watch a film in Tasveer Mahal as night show but when night show finished and we came out from Tasweer Mahal and all the shops were closed and there was nothing to eat. We all freind decided to go to Shamshad Market but there all hotels also were closed. Finally we moved to Zakaria Market but nothing we found there for eating as we all were very hungry and worried about food as we all were juniors so we also were affraid of from our seniors. Suddenly I saw one of my most senior of MM Hall, who was coming from Medical College and asked him where we can get now food. First he asked us in senior way what are you doing here in the night? Later he was cool down and told us, here is only one place or hotel that is Khala's Hotel, if it is also been closed you can knock her gate in the night, because she is very kind towards the students, if there will be any material for eating she can provide you. Fianlly, we reached there, as it was on Medical road and very close to A.I. Hall, as it was around 1.00am and it also was closed so we try to knock Khala's house gate very slowly slowly and we heard her voice from inside " Kaun Hai, mere bhooke bachhe hi honge" and she opened the door and we requested to Khala please give us anything we are very hungry, she told us I have nothing for you, " magar kuchh baasi rotiyan aur thanda gost ka shorba hai, agar khana hai to kha lo beta, bhooka kiya nahi karta, ham ne kaha khala hame wohi dedo hum bhook se mare ja rahe hain, Khala ne Khaloo ko pukara are kahan ho bachche bhook se behal hain aur tum so rahe ho, bachcho ko khana khilwado, Khaloo Bole tum raat me bhi nahi sone deti tumhe her waqt university ke bachchon ka khayaal satata rehta hai, to unhi bachcho ke pas chali jao, mujhe pareshaan kar ke rakh diya hai, yeh koi bachcho ke ane ka time hai, Khala boli, bak bak mat karo main khud hi apne bhooke bachcho ko khana khila deti hun, khal ne kaha baith jao abhi khana latee hoon. Jab ham ne khala ko dekha to hamare aadhi bhook ur gayee aur jab kahan khala lekar aain to baaki bhook bhi khatam ho gai. Bahar hum ne pani ke sahare bhook mitane aur raat kat ne ke lie roti ka kuch hissa kha ya baki dil ne allow hi nahi kiya magar hamare ek saathi to rukne ka naam hi nahi le rahe the aakhir unho ne khoob pet bhar ke khaya aur raat me hi unko food poisioning ho gaya aur unko health service me bharti karwana pada. Khala ne humko bataya beta mere yahan aise logo ne khana maheeno khaya hai jinke pass paise nahi hua karte the aur baghair bataye chale gaye magar baad me mujhe mere bachchon ne kahin ziyada pase bhej diye. koi America mein hai to koi South Africa mein Nelson Mandela ki ANC party ka member hai. Finally, I would like to request to my seniors specially from MM or RM Halls old members who were very close at that time to Khala's hotel, can give any information about Khala or past memories with Khala's hotel.
