Sir Ross Masood Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh organized its first Sir Ross Masood Memorial Lecture. The Provost of the Hall Prof. Nawab Ali Khan presided the chair and welcomed the dignitaries. The eminent scholar and Former Dean Faculty of Unani Medicine and President lbnsina Academy of Medieval Medicine and Sciences, Padamshri Prof. Hakeem Sayed Zill-ur-Rahman, presented the keynote address. In his speech, he highlighted the valuable aspects of Sir Ross Masood’s life. He focused on the unknown facts regarding the life of Sir Ross Masood. He also mentioned that Sir Ross Masood was the first person in India who tried to introduce the Urdu medium of education in the form of Osmania University, Hyderabad. Sir Ross Masood also visited Japan to see the Academic Atmosphere in Japan to revive the academic situation of India.
Dr. Ahsanullah Khan, the resident warden proposed vote of thanks. On this, occasion the general warden Dr. Mohd. Yameen, Dining Hall In-charge Dr. Shamshad Hussain, the warden of the D block Mr. Adnan Hafiz, Senior Hall, Rubaid Ashfaq were present Md. Tanweer Alam, student of MBA Final year conducted the programme.
