Our mission is to make a positive difference in the career and lives of Aligarh Muslim University Students and Alumni of AMU.

The Hiking and Mountaineering Club of the University Games Committee, Aligarh Muslim University today organized National Integration Marathon Race as part of the Republic Day Celebrations – 2010. About six hundred students of various schools and colleges of Aligarh District participated in the race.

AMU Registrar Prof. V. K. Abdul Jaleel was the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes to the winners.

Prof. Ainul Haq, Dean, Students’ Welfare and Prof. M. Zubair Khan, Proctor of the University graced the prize distribution function.

Dr. Shadab Khurshid, President, Hiking & Mountaineering Club said that for the first time more than six hundred boys and girls from different educational institutions of Aligarh District participated in the four kilometer and eight kilometer race starting from Willingdon Cricket Pavilion.

Mohd. Hasan, Captain of the Club proposed a vote of thanks. A large number of students and staff witnessed the prize distribution ceremony at Football Ground of the University.
