Prof. P.K. Abdul Azis, Vice Chancellor, AMU was Chief Guest, Dr. P.V. Jaganmohan, IAS, Commissioner Aligarh Mandal was President of the Session, Prof. Syed Mohammad Ameen, President, Al-barkat and Dr. Javed Jamil, Chief Editor, Islam, Muslims & the World were present as Guest of Honour.
Prof. P.K. Abdul Azis congratulated Dr. Z.H. Foundation for choosing a very appropriate topic of seminar which is the need of the hour. He added so many children are engaged in labour, nobody is paying attention towards their education. He appreciated the ongoing activities of Foundation and assured for every help possible from his side to the Foundation in future.
Prof. Syed Mohammad Ameen said that Dr. Z. H. Foundation is a dream of a person like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. He appreciated the hard work of the whole team of Dr. Zakir Hussain Foundation and motives of the foundation.
Dr. Javed Jamil highlighted the mindset of people who are only concerned with Female foeticide. These people ignore various important prevailing issues such as Child labour, child abuse, child trafficking and child rights and many more. He congratulated Dr. Z.H. Foundation for taking this initiative.
In his speech, Dr. P.V. Jaganmohan advised the parents not to kill the childhood of their children and to keep their children free from any type of burden or mental tension. He added to allow them also to play, enjoy, dance and participate in various extracurricular activities. According to him children will understand their duties at the correct times.
Mrs. Sajida Nadeem, General Secretary, delivered Annual Report of the Foundation and added that due to hardwork and sincere efforts, Foundation has got FCRA Certificate. She also added that Children are the most precious asset of Society and we should handle them with care.
Prof. Anis A Ansari, Patron welcomed the Guests and Prof. Ainul Haq, Patron delivered Vote of thanks.
Topper students from all the Schools of Aligarh were also felicitated by the Guests at this Occasion.
