So when the university was limping back to normalcy its very much in the air this AMU administration is going to take the final step- declaring sine die or prepone winter vacation.
I mean I earlier said that functionaries at AMU should do justice with their salaries by giving the true information happening inside to the outside world. However this is preposterous that even after declaring that situation normal here, the administration is going to resort to sine die as the answer to the final democratic step taken by AMU students to protest against the Vice-Chancellor without choosing the path of violence.
Today one can see in the media reports how more than 15000 students offered prayer at the dharna site and took a peace procession to the Sir Syed Mazar, on their way they showered rose petals at the Vice-Chancellor lodge.
Now our stand is if University declare sine die illegaly, because sine die is justified when there is threat to the life and liberty of university staff and students and its property. Then why sine die? Why the threat to evacuate hostels with massive police force with the fear of RAF and tainted PAC who even shot so many muslims.
We are facing imminent threat of massice police action of lathicharge and firing at the campus.
However we all students has decided that we wont evacuate our hostels at any cost, even police action follows. We have not done any wrong, any violence.
In the evening we are marching ahead with candlelite procession.
Latest news- Vice Chancellor is supposedly called a press conference at the Numaish Guest House to declare sine die.
