AMU : Team to visit Malappuram |

A five member team led by the Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis will visit Perinthalamanna in Malappuram district on September 29, 2009 for inspecting the land under acquisition for the purpose of establishing a special Centre of the Aligarh Muslim University in Kerala. The visiting team comprising of Prof. Pervez Mustajab, Controller of Examinations and Officer on Special Duty (Development), Prof. Ekram Husain, former Dean, faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Javed Akhtar, Dean Faculty of Management Studies and Research and Prof. N. A. K. Durrani, Media Advisor will also meet and discuss with the senior officials of the Government of Kerala including officials in charge of land acquisition. Government of Kerala has already appointed Dr. Kuncheria P. Isaac, Director of Technical Education as Nodal Officer. He will also be furnishing full details of the action taken in the matter, including survey map of the proposed area of land, identified for acquisition for the AMU Centre |
