The Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University has appointed Prof. A. R. Fatihi, Department of Linguistics as Honorary Director, Centre for Comparative Study of Indian Languages and Culture, in addition to his own duties vice Prof. Shaik Mastan till further orders.

It is worth mentioning here that Prof. A. R. Fatihi, Department of Linguistics is also appointed as Provost Sir Syed Hall (North) a couple of days before by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis.
