Esteemed Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship has been awarded to Mr. Shams Qamar Usmani, Research Scholar, Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University for one year tenable in Britain.

It is the very first time when such prestigious scholarship has been awarded to a research scholar enrolled in the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh.

Presently, Mr. Usmani is pursuing his PhD in Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Suhail Sabir.

In this one year tenable in Britain, Usmani shall work under the supervision of Dr. Kirk T. Semple, Lancaster Environmental Centre, Lancaster University, UK.
