Assalamo Alaikum.
A.M.U. culture was fuedalistic in nature based on dignity of self,respect to all,cooperation with all and sophistication of language.The culture of amu made a person roayal in habit and sat a standard of life. This was the culture that satrted after establishment of the university which could be seen in the form of system of bearer mian,self dignity in term of dress,to help the poor and needy ,cooperation with the university administation as a elder of the family,and the sweetness of language in the form of urdu.certailny amu culture declining with passage of the time.The democracy,the power of money, multiculturralism and globalisation led the shattering of the foundation of amu culture.The comptettion led the dishonesty among the guardian of amu culture and custodian of the university.just few example will be enough to cite where the amu culture heading 1.(Then) More and more salam.an average a student salute more than hundred times a day both to known and unknown.(now)less then 10 times a day and only to known.This slam that is basis of amu culture.2(Then)student to shopkeer-janab aapka dus rupia zayadah aagaya.(now)shopkeeper to student-aapne dus rupia kam dia hai 3 (Then) Biryani or dhaba wala -Doctor sahib ek plate biryani khallijia ,gharib ko khidmat ka mauqa dijia.(now)birani wala ya dhabawla-nahi bhai ab nahi de sakta her roj khakahr bhag jate hain.4(Then)senior to junior-anwer sahib kia lijiaga (now) senior to junior-chal be mere lia ek thnada le aa.These four exapmles are enough to conclude where this culture reached.But let hope that we will find a new way to revive sprit of our culture.if on individual level we follow our culture then that will revive it on collective level.
