Tribute To Shahid Afridi
He holds his bat with all his might,
The bowlers bowl with full of fright.
He is the man, he is the king,
He smashes every ball out of the ring.
Once he entered the pitch by chance,
And changed the game in a single glance.
He is the man depended on hard times,
For he is the king of all the times.
He is a batsman, an aggressive one,
He goes to the pitch and strikes everyone.
He is trusted for he plays for his team,
For when he blasts, its a disgrace for the opponent team.
He holds a record, the one from all his time,
And none has the strength to break it a single time.
He plays this way in every single match,
World cup finals or a domestic scratch.
He bowls too, in his own stylish way,
His leggish googly, very hard to play.
His leggy, his flipper, with scorching pace,
And he sends the batsman off with a disappointing face.
It is true, luck favours him only a few times,
But when it favours the score flies in no time.
He is a king, a king with no hidden mystery,
And when he strikes he creates history.
He is a night mare for every bowler,
No matter if its the world’s fastest wicket howler.
He is listed in the world’s best all rounders;
And no doubt he is a destructive all rounder.
His shots are not just shots but stud missiles.
And he influences with his most appealing smile.
He plays this way for he loves thee,
And yes he indeed is Shahid Khan Afridi.
