Assalam Alaikum, First of I would like to thank the webmaster for such an excellent piece of work. Specially the Jhrokhe colum is nostalgic.

One thing apart from University Campus that I loved was the Aligarh Food.

Baat 92 ki hai we used to go to Upper Fort (popularly known as UPPERCOAT) for 'Nahari and Nalli' at Muddees shop, espicially during Ramdhan for Sehri.

Ek din ka waqya sunata hoon. ... Main aur mere qabil dost Arshad Nadeem jo ki ab Delhi mein Physiotherapist hain uppercoat Nahari ki sehri karne gaye. Subah ke 3 baj rahe honge. Plan ke mutabik sehri karne ke baad railway station par chai peene ka dastoor tha.

CCTV at AMU

Dear All,

ASAK,

This is one of the good decisions of AMU administration and I don’t think there is any reason to oppose this. CCTV Cameras in public places, Roads and Gates should be installed long time back; we learn this lesson after too much loss, its late but good decision.

I appeal to all respected brothers support to the administration in every constructive decisions and give your suggestions (With drawback of Current and suggest alternative for the same), if you are not agree with any one. I believe, Rahat Abrar Sb. will convey our all suggestion to AMU administration and they will implement.

AMU Drop Hyderabad Centre

The Aligarh Muslim University has decided to drop Hyderabad as Centre for its Admission Test this year due to disturbance in Hyderabad on the issue of Telangana agitation and the applicants for B.Tech. and MBBS Admission test who have opted Hyderabad as Test Center as their first choice and also given their second choice, will be allotted another Admission Test Center as per their second choice.

AMU Controller of Examinations, Prof. Pervez Mustajab said that those who have not mentioned their second choice are being telephonically contacted for being allotted an alternate Admission Test Center

Abdul Azis today launched the new website www.amucontrollerexams.com for online submission of application form for admission to the Aligarh Muslim University. The University has also provided the facility to download the admission form for various courses.
